if u did window mode just to tab out, theres an easier way. all you take to do is ane. go on full screen manner, 2. when the game is loaded click the esc button to the settings menus and tab out there your mouse doesnt messup when i exercise information technology that way. if u have any quest. just enquire. :D

I cant alter it to fullscreen mode when information technology is loaded up and its not neccessarily windowed mode it just has the blue confined around it like windowed mode just non the taskbar at the lesser
You can edit ini setting for windowed mode ... the skyrimprefs.ini
Wait for "bFullScreen =0" - change the 0 to 1 and you should be good.

It is already set to 1 simply it still has the windowed manner look even though information technology is not set to windowed way and in that location is no taskbar on the bottom of the screen
you also might find teh game doesnt similar being in windowed mode, and part of the game screen is off the bodily monitor as well I always adopt windowed mods then I still have somne control om my computer, and is a little abrasive to have to log out to exercise something, but didnt know nigh the above ...
same experience here for all elderscrolls games since a few day. Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim.
They load fine, videos are in fullmode, then when the game starts it pops upwards equally a window. window frame and symbols cant accessed with the mouse (mouse stops right before- had the same bug with settlers btw).

Simply for fullscreen I'yard stumped cuz It's not your card. Is your res of the game set the aforementioned as your monitor?

The games worked fine- even under windows8.1. Maybe last windows8.ane/amd radeon HD7700 update with new "amd gaming evolved" under latest steam environment crusade problems.
After internetresearch information technology seams, that im not the only 1, who has this "windows windowframe" problem.
Closing "amd gaming evolved" doesn't assist.
With windows7 the games run just fine (other comp/labtop).
Dindn`t read the post carefully enough. For me it`s not a tab in /tab out cursor problem- just a window8.1 display trouble (with the aforementioned blue frame). And the symbols deceit get accessed by mousecursor (only the cursor works fine inside the window).
I would propose installing ENBoost and turning on boderless window mode in the enblocal.ini file(assuming that your desktop resolution is the same as the game resolution).
Some games practice the windowed games work so when the game is windowed, outside the window the cursor is a normal organization cursor, and when it goes within the window, it changes into the game cursor, and outside the window it'southward normal again. The cursor always has the same speed everywhere, and changing betwixt windows is like shooting fish in a barrel every bit pie.
I wonder why Bethesda didn't brand information technology that way.
I could sympathize how information technology is solved...have the same going on here...

This issue is not solved on this thread. I am having the exact same issue every bit Birdy, except with:

Nvidia 660ti
32GB RAM
Windows 8.one
150GB SSD
2TB HDD
Windows mode is deselected in the launcher Options screen. I have changed the backdrop on the .exe to read as "run as ambassador" and have fifty-fifty tried and turned off compatibility mode for Windows 7 AND XP. I tried going into the SkyrimPrefs.ini and changing the value nether bFull Screen to ane instead of 0....
I can't detect anything else after a couple hours of searching and information technology seems like multiple people are experiencing this issue. Assistance delight? I really want to play this game, merely the window drives me crazy.
@brittle73, I had the aforementioned result and was driving me basics! I finally dug effectually and in the principal skyrim binder where the .exe's are found. Properties, compatibility, and information technology was check marked in the "run this program in compatibility mode for: windows 8". Uncheck the box and Skyrim is at present fullscreen again for me!
